"Complex, evolved, full of tertiary aromas resulting from ageing in wood, strong. Aroma of nuts, walnuts and almonds, spices, torrefaction and nuances of vanilla. On the palate it is velvety, continuing to be fresh and with the flavour agreeing with the aromas that inundate our nose. The aftertaste is balsamic, very long and persistent with suggestions of honey, roasted aromas, puddings and nuts." —winemaker

"The prolonged stage in wooden casks give the wine unique quality and characteristics. It is clear and auburn, with greenish spots and so concentrate that is has some viscosity. The aroma is also impressive for the complexity and the time it needs on the glass until it reveals its full potential; it has notes of iodine, almonds, woods, spices, dried fruits and dried nuts, roasted aromas, of smoke, coffee, bread, chocolate and dried herbs. With a rounded, sweet, velvety, complex and complete taste in acidity and sweetness, in a unique harmony; the aftertaste emphasizes almonds, roasted coffee and torrefaction. Persistent, balanced, fresh, pleasant." —winemaker
"An exquisite Porto, and a much prized wine in any Andresen connoisseur’s collection. The 10 Year Old White was the first aged white from Andresen and has received international acclaim from those in the know. The design has also collected gold medals in London and New York. It shows the typical characteristics of 10 year old tawny, but with the delicacy which comes with white Porto. Ripe quince, a hint of honey and wild flower aromas spring to mind." —winemaker

"Aged for at least ten years in cask, this port is a blend of older wines with the addition of some younger wines to give balance. Complex and delicate, it has a fresh crispness of taste that comes with the judicious blending and constant refreshing of the wines that make up the blend. Ten-years-old Tawny is a wine to enjoy at any time - chilled, as a summer aperitif or as an accompaniment to cheese and fruit at the end of a meal." —winemaker
"Cockburn's 20 Year Old Tawny is blended from older, mature, cask aged wines and then refreshed by the addition of younger wines. The average age of this blend is no less than 20 years. The wine is star-bright, in color somewhere between rose hip pink and dark honey. A seductive, delicate nose evokes subtle hints of raisins, cedar wood, walnuts and cinnamon. Silky and light yet still with a distinct grip the wine is very much alive. The finish is nutty and sinewy and lasting. The character of this wine is similar to that of a fully mature vintage port of a very great year." —winemaker
