"Our non-vintage rosé is the end result of a desire to create a rosé champagne with a delightfully luscious, fruit-based charm. Jacques Péters, the cellarmaster, and his team wanted a champagne that would be accessible and naturally engaging while conserving Veuve Clicquot's essential values in terms of style. Veuve Clicquot Brut Rosé offers the eye radiant colour, its nose is intense and elegant. Notes of raspberry, wild strawberry and cherry predominate, followed by a touch of dried fruits and pastry. In the mouth, the attack is powerful, leaving behind a harmony of fruits. Elegant and sensual, the wine offers exceptional balance and surprising intensity." —winemaker
"Bright, golden hue with shimmering highlights. Fine, lively mousse with lingering threads of bubbles. The bouquet is open and rich yet also wonderfully fresh. It offers an explosion of ripe, delicate fruit with intense notes of yellow fruit (Mirabelle plum) from the pinot noir complemented by sweet citrus fruits (lemon meringue pie) and delicate notes of white flowers (jasmine) from the chardonnay. The nose opens up to reveal autolytic characters and evolves towards smoky, roasted notes and freshly baked pastries. The palate is deep and dense with a big, well-structured backbone." —winemaker

Blend: Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay
Wine Anthology review: The Grand Brut is the perfect introduction to Perrier-Jouët's range, featuring the House's signature Chardonnay-driven character at a great price. Although Grand Brut is a non-vintage blend, Perrier-Jouët ages this Champagne for three years in its chalk cellars underneath the estate so that all the individual components come together before release. This is a wonderfully balanced Champagne with notes of poached pear, grilled pineapple, apricot nectar, and honey that dance with toasted brioche and smoke, closing with a silky finish.

"Initial notes of breadcrumbs, fresh brioche and almond paste give way to elderflower and jasmine, then to fruit such as white peach and watermelon on the nose. Generous, ample and supple in structure, reminiscent of the cotton flower. Floral, aniseed and mentholated nuances bring lightness and freshness. The finish lingers on a delicate bitterness evoking fresh almonds." —winemaker
"A bright pink color with light copper hues. A gentle and persistent string of very delicate bubbles forms, exploding on the surface. The nose is frank, fine and pure. It begins first with the aromas of fresh red fruits (strawberry, raspberry, cherry) combined with citrus fruit fragrances (grapefruit) that match perfectly with the lightly spiced notes of cinnamon and vanilla revealed once allowed to breathe. Finally, dried fruit and brioche notes delicately add to the richness and complexity of its aromas. The clear, taut attack moves into a more full-bodied, structured and energetic palate. A perfect reflection of the nose, its minerality reveals generous red fruit aromas from the Pinot Noir (Morello cherry) combined with notes of slightly candied citrus fruit from the Chardonnay. Hints of sweet pastries point to the wine's long and slow maturation on less. Lastly, marrying with the juicy freshness of the fruit, the power of the tannins is perfectly balanced, leading to a delicate and silky finish of surprising length." —winemaker
"Pale, crystalline gold with the typical glints of the Chardonnay varietal. The aromas of mature Chardonnay can be recognised initially: white peach, candied citrus with notes of lime, honeysuckle and fresh hazelnut, giving way to subtle hints of tangerine and lemon. Freshness and tautness mark this typically Charles generosity: the attack is pure and forthright, not aggressive but almost unconventionally suave for a Blanc de Blancs, so often characterised as being sharp rather than creamy. The harmonious finish offers surprising minerality and a slight salinity." —winemaker
"Intense, fruity and aromatic, Ruinart Rosé owes its sensual elegance to the marriage of Chardonnay (45%), mainly from the Chardonnay Premiers Crus of the Côte des Blancs, and Pinot Noir from the Montagne de Reims and Vallée de la Marne, made into red wine. The nose is fresh and subtle, ripe with cherry and freshly picked red berries, followed by a splash of flowers and spicy notes. On the palate, the wine is silky and delicately fleshy. Ruinart Rosé is the gourmet expression of the Ruinart taste." —winemaker
