"Sourced from vineyards that surround the winery and fermented without oak to preserve the underlying expression of its classic terroir, this is Sauvignon Blanc as channeled through the unique prism of Bordeaux, offering the enhanced texture, elegance, and richness of body that are the region’s hallmarks. According to Jean Marc, part of that depth also results from the small touch of Sémillon (the region’s “other” white grape) he includes in the blend, which imparts a certain “je ne sais quoi” that immediately conjures white Bordeaux. With its cleansing freshness and acidity and flavors of citrus and melon, it’s a quintessential oyster wine, but has all the necessary structure to stand up to richer fish and shellfish dishes (think pan-seared trout or broiled lobster)." —importer
"As a state of mind, the perfect Gentil should be aromatic, aperitive, yet dry and gastronomic. On the nose, the fruit of the aromatic grapes composing it presents itself first, unmistakably Alsace, it opens on yellow plums, rose, quince, citrus zests. Generous, it quickly invites you to a first sip. In mouth, harmony prevails. Supple, the palate unfolds, pleasant, graceful, leading to a delicate, fresh finish." —winemaker
"The family de Malet Roquefort is installed at Saint Emilion since 1705. Owner of several vineyards (Bordeaux and Saint Emilion AOC) and the famous Chateau La Gaffelière, 1st Growth. They are proud of their roots and their “terroirs” diversity. The wines are well-known for their elegance. Comtesse de Malet Roquefort is mainly elaborated from the vineyards of the family. Clean, crisp, and juicy; fresh and racy; dry, smooth, and long." —importer

"Côté Est, as the name suggests, comes from vineyards planted on the gentle slopes facing the Mediterranean just a few kilometers inland from the sea. Benefiting from the thermal breezes that refresh these vineyards every afternoon in the summer – which preserves a high level of natural acidity in the grapes – this is a lively blend of old vine Grenache Blanc with Chardonnay and Rolle. Floral and aromatic, it is an excellent example of the open and friendly whites you can find all along the Catalan coast from Perpignan to the Penedès." —winemaker
"Cuvée Centenaire takes its name from the 100-year-old vines of Grenache Blanc and Gris Jean-Marc Lafage farms just a few kilometers from the Mediterranean on gravelly clay soils. One of the greatest white wine values in our portfolio, the final wine blends these ancient grapes with up to 20% younger vine Roussanne. To make a rich and balanced wine, the grapes are harvested in two passes, the first when they just reach ripeness and are still high in acidity and a second pass when the grapes are fully ripe with rich fruit flavors. The wine is then aged in a combination of tank and new French oak barrels." —winemaker
