"In contrast to the 2021 harvest, 2022 was exceptionally favorable. Warm, dry weather conditions allowed us to harvest grapes in peak condition. With an expansion of varietals, keeping grenache and syrah at the core, we were able to blend this year's harvest into a rosé more nuanced and complex, resulting in a wine with supremely balanced flavor profile and sumptuous mouthfeel, while delivering notes of raspberry, cherry, peach, herbal, citrus and mineral core, with an elegant finish on the palate." —winemaker

"Rosé d'Anjou is a round and fruity wine, ideal all day long. It is a medium dry wine which can be served with exotic and spicy dishes. The vineyards grow on the hillsides of rivers flowing from the Loire and particularly the Layon. Vinified in the traditional rosé method. The grapes are crushed after a slight maceration, giving a pink color. Fermentation is not allowed to complete, in order to give the wine its subtle sweetness." —winemaker

The finesse continues on the palate with a full, rich and complex texture, gourmet aromas of white peaches and a great tension, perfectly balanced by natural acidity and minerality with saline and limestone notes, specific to the Provençal terroir. A unique combination of classic Provençal red berries leading to scents of the holidays – pine, cinnamon and gingerbread cookies. The spice notes from the Syrah provides a dry, white pepper characteristic across the entire palate. A touch of Rolle gives great acidity and brightness that lends notes of winter citrus, spice with a warming finish. A perfect wine to take to a BBQ and serve with grilled chicken and vegetable skewers.
