"Da Vinci Chianti is a well-balanced wine of medium weight with jammy flavors of ripe plums, cherries and red fruit. It has a deep crimson color and is a lively wine with a soft mineral finish and round tannins that linger in long, peppery finish." —winemaker

"Deep slightly violet ruby with lively ruby rim. The bouquet is fairly intense, and fresh, with forest berry fruit, a mixture of cherry and also quite a bit of black currant, that gains definition from hints of berry fruit acidity, slight floral accents, and underlying berry fruit jam. On the palate it's ample and smooth, with fairly rich forest berry fruit supported by berry fruit acidity and fairly light tannins that do have a slight burr, and flow into a clean berry fruit finish." —winemaker

Wine Anthology Team Review-  My new "go-to" Chianti under $20! Beautifully floral on the nose, it opens up to flavors of red berry and spice with a finish that offers up a kiss of plum and blackberry. I gave it 45 minutes to breathe after I opened up the bottle and when this wine is ready it is like drinking velvet. You will thank me later. Cheers!
