"A dark mauve core with a neon purple rim, the wine stains everything. Opening aromatics on the 2020 Machete are gorgeous immediately: ripe pluot, carne asada, new cowboy boots, lilacs, espresso bean and wet concrete. On the palate, layers upon layers reveal themselves, from a plum galette topped with fior di latte gelato to 85% cacao dark chocolate to barbequed tri-tip and sweet oak. Puckering tannins to finish, the wine closes on a high note with a touch of blood orange zest and lingering acidity." —winemaker

"The Sorella is a blend that was created in 1994 and has now become the flagship wine for Andrew Will. It is a Cabernet Sauvignon dominant red blend was created to showcase the combination of finesse and structure that comes from Washington State grapes. This wine is sourced from Champoux Vineyard, which is one of the premier vineyards in Washington. This wine has proven to age gracefully for over 25 years now. Sorella means 'sister' in Italian and the wine was named to honor Chris Camarda’s late sister when it was first produced in 1994." —winemaker

"Showcasing a classic layering of red and dark fruits, our 2020 D2 is built upon a softer, approachable structure and style that allow for this wine to be so reliable to be enjoyed in its youth. Whiffs of dried cranberry, black cherry, vanilla bean, and lavender flower flow into a palate filled with flavors reminiscent of milk chocolate, green peppercorn, and fresh ground nutmeg. Many of the state’s most heralded sites provide pure fruit and savory characteristics here, with toasty oak influence deftly supporting in the background." —winemaker

"The dark crimson core and brick rim sets the stage, as aromas of currant, blackberry, blue fruits, anise, lavender and brioche float from the glass. Enveloping and coating becomes mixed berry pie, sarsaparilla, cola and blackcurrant with structured heft through the mid-palate. Chalky tannins a la black tea or baking chocolate round out the wine with a pleasing finish of sweet oak." —winemaker

"Although just the second interpretation of this cuvee, Nicolas-Jay has been envisioning this wines construction since their very first vintage. This really is the collection of the best blocks and barrels of everything they farm. The 2019 L’Ensemble showcases Christmas spice, currants, blueberries and sweet forest floor notes. The front end brings strawberries, then chalky granite complexities, and subsequently shifts back to a fresh cranberry and hood river cherry. A framing of gentle vanilla weight from extra aging in French oak completes the palate. The fruit is cascading in effect, it forms in waves, with precise integration and symmetry that supports the wine’s finesse and power." —winemaker
