"When Dom Pérignon chooses to be Rosé, it is a declaration of freedom. Freedom to cast convention aside and push its own boundaries, seizing the red of the pinot noir grape in its primal radiance, capturing its vital power in a bold, assertive assemblage. Tempered by a slow, masterful transformation during nearly 12 years of elaboration, Dom Pérignon Rosé is untamed and carnal, both light and dark, electrifying.
"The collaboration between Dom Pérignon and Lady Gaga marks the encounter of two creative forces. Lady Gaga, inspiring us to dream, to experiment, to express ourselves. And Dom Pérignon, perpetually exploring the edge of creation. Today, uniting their energies to spark inspiration. The design of this limited edition, rippling and shifting, is itself a visual ode to creativity. A vital impulse. A celebration of those who push boundaries.
"Dom Pérignon Rosé 2006 takes us by the hand. The captivating bouquet, ripe and profound, is a prelude to an enveloping wave that is at the same time crisp, firm, and juicy on the palate. This energy – tinged with sensuality and mystery – takes us to the surprising briny, saline finish. Enwrapped in notes of yeast, this airy expression of matter signs the maturity of Dom Pérignon Rosé 2006. A magnetic élan." —winemaker
"Armand de Brignac Rosé is an elegant and delicious “basket of red fruits” as described by Chef de Cave, Jean-Jacques Cattier. The vibrant rose hue is given from the inclusion of slightly more than 15% of still red wine, harvested from old Pinot Noir vines that produce fruit with great flavor intensity. The current assemblage comprises 50% Pinot Noir, 40% Pinot Meunier and 10% Chardonnay and is a trio of vintages; 2009, 2010 & 2012.
Strawberry, currants and cherry abound on the nose, with floral hints and a touch of sweet almond. The red grape dominance brings a structured palate filled with black fruits, cherries and hints of baked pastry. The Chardonnay brings the lightness and elegance.
Ideal as an aperitif or pairs beautifully with truffled veal, duck confit and wild salmon." —winery
