"Brilliant citrine in color. Predominantly fruity character, aiming to highlight the aromas of stone fruit resulting from the high percentage of the blend being Albarino. Balanced, persistent, chewy and dry." —winemaker
"Toucas is a young and fresh Vinho Verde wine, aromas of fresh orange peel and lemon abound, with stone fruit on the palate. The finish is soft and round. This traditional Portuguese white is best served well chilled as and aperitif, or as the perfect match to shellfish." —winemaker
"Aveleda Vinho Verde is a perfect reflection of the character of the Vinho Verde wine region: citrus colour, young and balanced, with a smooth and delicate bouquet, revealing hints of fresh fruit. In the mouth, fresh and vibrant." —winemaker
"A young, fruity and delicate white wine, ideal as an aperitif or with light dishes. It is light yellow-green in color, with a nose of citrus, and a crisp, spritzy acidity. Light in body with no oak and no tannins, Casal Garcia is light and refreshing, and ready to drink! It should be served chilled." —winemaker
"Aveleda is produced in our winery with grapes from the Vinho Verde region — the most extensive in Portugal. The careful temperature control during the winemaking process produces a wine that is slightly citrine in color, clear and bright. Its gentle and fruity aroma gives it a smooth, delicate flavor." —winemaker
"This lemon coloured wine has a nose of flora and citrus fruits. Lovely acidity on the palate combined with the characteristic minerality found in the Dão region, with a long and elegant finish." —winemaker
"Viosinho imposes itself as one of the most extraordinary grape varieties of our terroir. Combines the fruity notes of its grape variety, with deep minerality (derived from our more calcareous soils), very lively acidity and a saline and deep finish. Present in our most noble white wines and, of course, also bottled as a single grape variety – pairing with all kinds of fish and seafood!" —winemaker
Wine Anthology Team Review-One of my new favorite white wines! Crisp acidity and sublime, fruit flavors roll into wonderful minerality and a completely satisfying finish. Like a Gruner Vetliner met an un-oaked Chardonnay. Simply delicious! A must try! Have this one with citrus grilled Tamboril. Cheers!
"Pale yellow in color, this vintage is very delicate, elegant, mineral and floral. In the mouth these impressions are completed with notes of yellow fruit, such as peach and pineapple, combined with subtle sensations of toasted wood, presenting a firm, very fresh, mineral, long and complex finish." —winemaker
